Green Rating Points Estimator
Estimate energy-related points your building can earn under LEED, Estidama or Mostadam.
Indicative only, not a formal assessment. Real points depend on the scheme version, modeling, and documentation. A puniq audit maps your building to the exact credits.
About this tool
Green building ratings reward buildings that use less energy, and in the GCC the energy section is where most points and most cost savings overlap. This estimator gives an indicative count of energy-related points your project could earn under LEED, Estidama Pearl, or Mostadam, the three schemes that dominate the region.
You set your energy improvement over the baseline, then say whether you have advanced metering and whether commissioning is done. Each scheme caps how many energy points are on offer, so the tool scales your improvement against that cap and adds fixed credits for metering and commissioning.
How to read the result
The result is the energy-related slice of your scorecard, not your full rating. Pushing energy improvement higher and putting open metering and proper commissioning in place are usually the cheapest points to win, because they come from running the building well rather than buying more hardware. This is a planning aid, not a formal assessment.
Frequently asked
Is this a certified score?
No. It is an indicative planning estimate of energy-related points only. Official points depend on the exact scheme version, energy modeling, and submitted documentation reviewed by the certifying body.
Why does each scheme have a different cap?
LEED, Estidama, and Mostadam allocate different maximum points to energy performance. The tool reflects approximate caps so you can compare where your improvement lands under each.
Why do metering and commissioning add points?
Both prove the building actually performs as designed. Advanced metering gives you the data to optimize, and commissioning verifies systems work correctly, so most schemes credit them directly.
How do I raise my energy points?
Increase measured energy improvement over the baseline through optimized, vendor-neutral controls, add open metering, and complete commissioning. A puniq audit shows which credits are cheapest for your building.
