Tools & Guides
Free, vendor-neutral assessments and field guides built by puniq engineers. Run them yourself in an afternoon to understand exactly where your building stands today. No sales call required.
Start with what you can measure
How intelligent is the building we already own? The systems are there, the controllers are wired, the meters are running. But the data sits trapped inside five or more vendor silos that never speak to each other, so nobody has a single honest view.
Featured
Our flagship self-assessment. Answer a short, structured set of questions about your systems, protocols and data access, and receive a scored report that shows exactly where your building sits on the path from fragmented to readable.
A scored, vendor-neutral assessment across integration, data access, automation maturity and compliance readiness. See where you stand against GEG §71a, EU Taxonomy and CSRD, plus a prioritized list of next moves.
Get the readiness reportWhat the report tells you
The report scores your building across the dimensions that actually decide whether intelligence is achievable, then tells you which one or two moves unlock the most value.
In the workshop
We publish a new tool or field guide only when it earns its place. These three are in production now.
A field guide to spotting the contractual and protocol traps that keep buildings tied to a single supplier, and the questions to ask before you sign.
A plain-language walkthrough of the German Building Energy Act automation and monitoring duties, with a checklist to see whether your building is in scope.
An anonymized example of the Documented Data Map we hand over at project close, so you can see exactly what a readable building looks like on paper.
FAQ
Yes. The readiness report and every guide here are free to use with no obligation. We build them because a building owner who understands their own systems is a better partner if and when an engagement makes sense.
No. The readiness report scores and returns your results directly. If you want a deeper look afterwards, you can choose to talk to us, but nothing is gated behind a call.
The assessment asks structured questions about your setup, not live system access. We follow German data-protection norms and never share what you enter.
That is what our Data Auditor engagement is for. The report shows you the gaps; the audit produces the Documented Data Map and the integration plan to close them.
Run the readiness report, or tell us about the systems you run today and we will map the path to one intelligence layer.
